Lindsay Lohan Gets A Thumbs Up From Judge

Life is a lot easier when you serve your punishments respectfully and dutifully. That’s a lesson most children learn after a few years in school, and that’s a lesson Lindsay Lohan appears to have learned with her ongoing legal battles. The actress showed up to court his morning, on time, and received a big thumbs up from Judge Sautner for continuing her steady progress. Today’s meeting marked the second consecutive positive appearance for Lohan, and if she continues down this path, she will actually be finished with her community service well before the deadline. What a difference a few months make.

Back in November, the Mean Girls star was thoroughly chewed out by the same judge after she avoided therapy sessions and regularly left early from shifts at the Women’s Center. Her conduct was deemed so offensive at the time that she was actually sentenced to thirty days in jail. Thanks to California’s prison overcrowding, she was out within hours, but her behavior has been nothing short of productive ever since. Under her new plan, she’s required to spend at least twelve days a month volunteering at the morgue and four days a month in therapy. Lohan has hit both those figures and some between her last two court dates, and she reportedly plans on doing the same before she’s due back on February 22nd.

According to The New York Daily News, Lohan’s supervised probation is scheduled to end on March 29th, and if all goes well, she won’t be monitored so closely after that. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, told reporters the rigid system has been good for his client but she’s nonetheless still excited to finish up what she owes to the State.

Pop Blend wishes Lohan nothing but the best as she matures and hopefully moves on without the legal system for the rest of her life.
