Lindsay Lohan: Was Lung Infection The Real Reason For ER Visit?
If Lindsay Lohan moved from Los Angeles to New York City to stay out of the headlines, the change of location has been a complete failure thus far. Just days after being accused of running into a pedestrian with her car, the actress generated more headlines last night when she wound up in an emergency room in Manhattan.
The actress hasn’t spoken publically about what exactly put her there, but her father, as he’s apt to do, made the rounds this morning to talk about what happened. Michael Lohan told The New York Daily News that his daughter has been battling a lung infection for weeks and eventually decided it needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. Thus, she skipped watching the Emmys last night in favor of picking up some antibiotics at the E.R..
According to Michael, Lindsay had severe asthma problems that almost killed her as a kid and thus, needs to go to the emergency room sometimes to be on the safe side. According to common sense, however, if someone really does have that bad of asthma problems, they probably shouldn’t let a lung infection simmer for weeks before impulsively going to the emergency room. Consequently, one would imagine there's more to this story that we're not getting.
Clearly, something is wrong with the actress. She wouldn't have gone to the emergency room if she was fine, but there's something about this lung infection story that feels a bit strange. What do you think? Are you buying or selling it as the real reason for her visit? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below...
