Macho Man Randy Savage Killed In Heart Attack Car Crash
Wrestler Randy Savage has died in a car accident early this morning. The accident happened in Largo, Florida where the wrestler had a massive heart attack while driving on the highway. Savage was well known as being the “Macho Man” of wrestling, having a enormous career in the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) and WCW (World Championship Wrestling).
According to TMZ, the wrestler’s brother Lanny Poffo told them that Savage had a massive heart attack behind the wheel, and died at the scene of the crash. Florida Highway Patrol tell the media he “veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and collided head-on with a tree” The press release also states his wife Lynn was in the vehicle, but came out with only minor injuries. The “Macho Man” was 58.
The Macho Man was probably best known for being the Slim Jim spokesperson. Savage was hilarious in those commercials and brought light to the spicy snake. In memory of him, watch him snap into a Slim Jim one last time:
