Maria Shriver Offered 15 Million For Memoir, Is It Worth It?Author: Mack Rawden

Just days after filing for divorce, Maria Shriver has reportedly been offered a record-setting advance by numerous publishing houses to write a memoir. The Kennedy cousin and soon to be former wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger has penned six well-received books in the past but none have been as intimate or personal as this one would have to be.
According to Radar Online, the biggest publishing advance ever given was to former President Bill Clinton for his post-Presidential memoir, but if Shriver moves forward, her deal should easily surpass that figure. That's still a big if though. Fifteen million dollars is a ton of money to walk away from, but with a divorce settlement likely to top two hundred million dollars, it's not like she really needs the money. Plus, Shriver still has two teenage kids at home. I highly doubt either would want the family's secrets served up to a drama-obsessed public. So, all that begs the question, is it worth spilling the family secrets for fifteen million dollars? Should Maria take the money and get to work or should she decline and focus on putting the past behind her? Vote in the poll below and let us know what you think…
