Nick Cannon Still Ill, Taking A Break From Radio Work
In January, Nick Cannon was on vacation with wife Mariah Carey, when disaster struck. Aspen is supposed to be a place of winter sports and relaxation, but for Cannon, it turned into a kidney failure nightmare. However, a week later, what Carey called ďa mild kidney failureĒ seemed to be only a small scare, as Nick Cannon returned to his radio work. As it turns out, the whole returning to work thing may have happened a bit soon.
Between his radio program, his twins, and the upcoming 7th season of Americaís Got Talent, Cannon has not really slowed down post kidney failure. According to People, this behavior has indeed taken a toll on Cannonís body. In the last months, instead of recovering, it seems the TV host has actually been feeling worse. Which means Cannon is finally ready to do what he should have done weeks ago: get some much needed rest. He spoke out about his time off and also announced he had recently been treated for a couple of blood clots. Which only serves to make it more apparent he does need some time.
"I've been going hard for a little over two years and because of my recent health condition my doctor is like, 'Yo, you can't do that anymore.' I tried to fight 'em. I tried to be like, 'No, this is what I love.' And he was like, 'You're going to love it to death.'Ē
Pop Blend wishes Cannon and his family the best of luck as the TV host endeavors to get better.
