Liam Neeson’s been a professor, a cheating husband, a lion, a Nazi, and a god. He can play almost anyone in anything and make it better, but he’s always at his best when playing a tough guy.

Born in North Ireland he started out pretty tough, originally working as a forklift operator for Guinness. But in the 70s Neeson started working in film and on television as an actor, where eventually he started playing badasses. Maybe you saw him in Excalibur or Krull in the 80s.
