Reese Witherspoon Names Son Tennessee, Thumbs Up Or Thumbs Down?

For the third time in her life, Reese Witherspoon gave birth this morning. Inside a Los Angeles hospital room, the beloved actress welcomed in a healthy son named Tennessee without any complications, and in doing so, increased her family size from four to five.

The Walk The Line star previously gave birth to two children during her marriage to Ryan Phillippe. Following the break-up, she began seeing Jim Toth, who, at the time, was reportedly opposed to having children. After getting to know Ava and Deacon, however, he changed his tune.

It’s unclear how much say Toth may have had in choosing the name, but Tennessee is actually pretty in line with what Reese has gone with in the past. It’s interesting and unique enough where the kid won’t be constantly butting into others who share his moniker; yet, it’s not bizarre enough to draw snickers. From my perspective, it’s in a pretty safe and comfortable zone, but to others, the name Tennessee leaves a whole lot to be desired in the way of coolness.

What do you think? Do you like the direction Reese and Jim decided to head in naming their newborn son Tennessee, or do you think they should have tried something else? Let us know your thoughts on the matter by sounding off in the poll below…
