Rihanna is learning to play the drums with the help of a celebrity music tutor - she's enlisted rocker Travis Barker for private lessons.

The Umbrella hitmaker reportedly wants to play an instrument on stage when she tours in Europe later this year (10), and has been practicing her percussion skills at a rehearsal room in Los Angeles with the Blink-182 star.

Barker revealed his famous student by posting a picture of their practice session on his Twitter.com page on Monday (22Mar10). In the accompanying message, he writes, "Teaching Rihanna some things on drums. She JAMS!!! Watch out for her!" (LR/WNTWT/ZN)
