Sam Lufti Says Britney's Dad Punched Him

Britney Spears’ former buddy Sam Lufti took the stand again today in his breach of contract/ defamation lawsuit, and not surprisingly, the aggressive and pointed allegations continued right where they left off. Today’s long list of accusations included Britney supposedly resenting her mother, Lynne, for not being financially independent, and Britney’s father, Jamie, supposedly punching Lufti in the solar plexus and threatening to kill him.

According to E! Online, Lufti told the jury the physical altercation happened three days before Spears was hospitalized for the first time. Lynne and Jamie went to Britney’s residence to check on their daughter and discovered just how far south things had gone. Afterwards, an enraged Jamie supposedly lashed out at Lufti, chasing him around the kitchen island and yelling about what a bad influence he was. After being ejected from his daughter’s house, he supposedly returned the next morning and promptly punched Lufti and threatened to kill him.

Jamie previously admitted he shoved Lufti because he was so furious over the situation, but he’s denied actually hitting him. Either way, it’s understandable why a parent would act aggressively and maybe even irrationally at the person they thought was responsible for their daughter’s downfall.

In just a few short days, this trial has been a mess of finger-pointing and anger. Luckily for Britney, a judge ruled she didn’t have to come and listen to any of it thanks to the conservatorship.
