Is Scarlett Johansson Really The Sexiest Woman Alive?
By Mack Rawden 1 year ago
How attractive or unattractive a woman is might be very subjective, but there’s clearly some objectivity to it since the same women tend to come up over and over again on most of the “hottest” lists. Take for example Scarlett Johansson. She was Esquire’s Sexiest Woman all the way back in 2006, and now, she’s topped the list again.
Once upon a time, Johansson was more of a straight ahead Hollywood star. She was dating one of the most eligible men in the business and focusing most of her attention on acting, but now, she’s much more of a diverse woman. She’s engaged to a mysterious Frenchman named Romain Dauriac, and she focuses some of her attention on music. Older, wiser and a little less in your face, she’s obviously still dead sexy but in a very different, almost cooler way. In short, she’s changed quite a bit since her last time on the cover. For example: she’s started to feel jealousy in a relationship for the first time, and in her mind, that’s actually a good thing.
Here’s a portion of the quote from her interview…
"Look, I'm with a Frenchman. I think jealousy comes with the territory. But I'd rather be with someone who's a little jealous than someone who's never jealous. There's something a little dead fish about them. A little bit depressing. It may not make sense, but you need to feel it a little.”
On the one hand, it’s easy to see why Johansson was chosen as the hottest woman in the world. She’s got a beautiful face, dynamite curves and a great smile. She’s clearly up there, but on the other hand, so much of being selected as the most anything in Hollywood has to do with buzz and riding the wave at the right moment, and with all due respect to Scarlett, she’s really not the girl on everyone’s lips.
