Van Morrison has welcomed his first son at the age of 64.

The Brown Eyed Girl hitmaker's wife, film producer GiGi, gave birth to George Ivan Morrison III on Monday (28Dec09). The couple announced the news on the singer's personal website, revealing their son is "the spitting image of his daddy" and is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Britain.

Morrison has one daughter, 39-year-old singer-songwriter Shana Morrison, from his first marriage. (KD/AWS/ZN)
