The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck Writes Osama Bin Laden Poem For Her Children

published: 2011-05-04 13:44:53
The world is currently in a tailspin, intensely discussing and debating whether or not President Obama should release photo’s taken of the late Osama Bin Laden. In light of the whole situation, The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck tries to find a way to explain this debacle to her children.

Recently posted on THR, Hasselbeck wrote a poem explaining to her kids what exactly is going on. Reciting the poem Wednesday morning on The View, in joking way, Hasselbeck says:
Osama Bin Laden was a very bad guy
He hurt many people, don't ask me why
We shot him in the head and now he is dead
Now close your eyes and go to bed

I personally don’t think it’s too much to ask of our government to release photos of the now deceased Osama Bin Laden. I admire justification like that, but many people feel otherwise. In light of all the intense conversation, it’s nice to see that people still have a sense of humor.
