Whitney Houston's Airplane Incident, Exhaustion Or Diva Behavior?Author: Mack Rawden

Whitney Houston came within a note of getting kicked off a Delta Airlines flight on Wednesday for, of all things, refusing to buckle her seatbelt. The diva was reportedly minding her own business prior to takeoff when a stewardess kindly asked her to secure her safety apparatus so the plane could take off. She was having none of it, at least until another crew member informed her she’d be sent back to the terminal if she didn’t comply.
According to TMZ, the singer eventually allowed a third crew member to buckle it for her. That’s right. She apparently couldn’t be bothered to buckle her own seatbelt and/ or couldn’t figure out how to use the damn thing. Sadly, I’m not even sure which one of those options is less horrifying. Since the news originally broke yesterday, Whitney’s people have gone into full spin mode, assuring the press neither drugs nor alcohol were behind the confrontation. They’re asserting it was plain old exhaustion. Houston is currently shooting a movie but took time off to attend a charity event across the country. She apparently missed her first flight and was a bit stressed and overwhelmed about the whole seatbelt thing once she made it on board. Whitney might have a less than stellar history when it comes to drugs and alcohol, but I do believe that this incident had nothing to do with putting substances into her body. If there was any hint of booze on her breath, you know flight attendants and passengers would be shouting it to anyone who would listen. Same thing goes with glassy eyes, but whether or not she was truly exhausted or is just always this unmanageable is a matter entirely worth debating. What do you think? Was Whitney exhausted or is she just a difficult person? Sound off by voting in the poll below…
