   ok..
   
   so lets think about prior live action cartoon movies; garfeild, pink panther, ect. These movies are only successful because the audience tend to reminisce about the cartoons of their childhood and think "omg i loved that show, i can't wait to see the movie" but the movie always contains bad humor, lacking dialog, and actors that are not really in the top movies.
   
   overall this is not going to be a cinematic phenomenon. The ones who made this know of the psychology involved and know that everyone will be like 'aw they are cute, i loved that show, lets go spend $10 to watch a movie that we will ultimately be disappointed in"
   
   i dont mean to be so negative but it bothers me that movies like this get the traffic they do, and its not deserved.. unless the entire audience is 10.

   I loved the previews and it looks so funny. Can't wait to see the full movie!! The iced coffee scene is craking me up!

   this looks like a really cute movie the commercials for this movie are so cool they are the bom i am going to see it on the day it comes out.

   I know this is going to be a lousy movie, the trailers show that. This isn't going to be classy, this isn't going to be funny. In short, expect nothing from this film. That said, I can't wait for it. I loved the Chipmunks sooooo freakin much when I was little. In fact, they introduced me to music. I don't expect anything from this movie except nostalgia.

   Dude! Who cannot Love the chipmunks you have to be a complete idiot not to love them there so adorable and CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
