Synopsis

In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda. The new victims of Death’s plan are part of a cast led by Emma Bell (Frozen, TV’s The Walking Dead) and Nick D’Agosto (Fired Up!, TV’s Heroes).

Paul Walker Protecting His Newborn Baby In Hurricane Katrina Drama Hours

Helping to bring job to Louisiana by filming in New Orleans can only help a feature that, sight unseen, will be looked at for potentially exploiting Katrina for drama. When it comes to stories set in a post-Katrina environment, it’s damn near impossible to top Spike Lee’s compelling documentaries. But it’s possible that a dramatic narrative can be drawn from this natural tragedy, so long as the script treats each situation with the right amount of respect and reverence. ...

To 3D Or Not To 3D: Choose The Right Final Destination 5 Ticket

This summer has been over-populated with post-conversion and 3D films that were never meant to be 3D films, but Final Destination 5's use of the technology is absolutely wonderful. Director Steven Quale knew what he was doing every step of the way while making this film in three-dimensions and it absolutely shines through....

Exclusive Interview: Final Destination 5 Director Steven Quale

Thanks to its cleverness and willingness to let humor play alongside horror, the Final Destination franchise has given us a couple solid entries that are perfect to sit down with and enjoy on a Saturday afternoon. That said, in 2009 The Final Destination came out and practically destroyed all the good will that the previous movies had built up....

This Rotten Week: Predicting 30 Minutes Or Less, The Help And Final Destination 5 Reviews

We’ve officially entered the dog days of summer. Those long ninety-degree-plus mid-afternoons where the sweating starts after lunch and ends sometime around tomorrow’s breakfast. No wonder all the big movies come out during this season. What better place to spend some time during summer than a dark, AC-aided 60 degree climate...

Final Destination 5 Music Video Travels To The World Of Saved By The Bell

Back in 2009 actor/singer Miles Fisher made a music video for his cover of "This Must Be The Place" by Talking Heads. While the song was awesome enough, the video was a brilliant parody of Mary Harron's American Psycho with Fisher as the homicidal Patrick Bateman. Now, with Final Destination 5 set to arrive in theaters next week, Fisher has released a new video starring his FD5 co-stars and it's fantastic....

How much do adults hate teenagers? So much that they’ve poured enough money into the box office to justify five movies about watching their deaths. Or maybe it’s all self-loathing kids who’re piling into theaters to load up the box office with Final Destination dollars. ...

Here's Rebar In Your Eye: It's A New Final Destination 5 Poster

Final Destination 5 has a new poster, which sticks with the theme started by the first teaser one sheet. It’s all about skulls. Appropriate, I guess? Previous incarnations of the franchise usually focused on pretty young teenagers looking scared, since that’s usually what these movies are about. This time it’s all about skulls....
