A Washington DC reporter (Kate Beckinsale), writes an explosive story about a government scandal in which she reveals the name of a covert CIA agent (Vera Farmiga). When a special government prosecutor (Matt Dillon) demands she divulge her source she refuses and is sent to jail. Unexpectedly finding herself behind bars she struggles to maintain her principles and relationship with her family. “Nothing But the Truth” is about the struggle to maintain one’s principles and dignity in the most dire of circumstances.
