In Thailand, a group of Christian aid workers recruit John Rambo to guide them up the Salween River to deliver medical supplies to the Karen tribe of neighboring Burma (aka Myanmar). When the missionaries fail to return, Rambo is persuaded to take a group of mercenaries back into the war-torn border region to find them. What follows is a descent into hell on earth.
Sylvester Stallone continues the nostalgia tour he began in resurrecting Rocky Balboa by revisiting his second most famous character: John Rambo. After this, I suppose we’ll be forced to sit through another awful Judge Dredd.
For now, Stallone has at least one more good character to rehash. Sure Sly is older and so is Rambo, but don’t expect him to be any less of a badass killer. Where the Rocky series has turned into a bunch of meditations on aging, the new Rambo movie promises to be more of the same, the same being violence and lots of it. Sly can still deliver and if you’re any fan of Rambo then don’t worry. It may have been nearly 30 years since his last adventure but Stallone will have him as ready for action as ever.

Rambo is the best action hero ever, when I found out he was making Rambo 4 I went crazy downloading everything Rambo I could find. and if you think hes to old, then you try making the best movie in the world when you're 60! Yah thats what I thought!!! (and it is the best, all of them) email me at: rambo_lives_on@yahoo.com
I hate that people think he is to old to be doing rambo movies,I mean who can see anybody else doing these movie. So old or not he's made for these movies.
Im one of Slys biggest fans ever... from movies such as Rocky to First Blood, and from Lockup to Demolition man...and who cant forget one of my favorites ever Over the top But what i think is... Sly should leave the classics as they are... youll only spoil them... just like how Arnie ruined the Terminator duo when he released T3, I dont want Sly doing the same thing to his classics... he already spoiled the Rocky classics when releasing Rocky5, but did he stop, No, he went and released Rocky Balboa which made it even worse... i hope you havent and wont do the same to the Rambo trilogy Sly!!
I have been trying to find info about the S. Stallone directed movie about Edgar Allen Poe. Has this film been casted or filmed yet? Please advise. Thank you
