Hal is looking for answers to life's big questions. You know, the ones that typically plague teenage boys. How far is second base? What is love? How can he control his stutter? Etc. Instead of his parents, Hal turns to friends, siblings, and eventually, resorts to joining his high school debate team in his search for the answers to life.


The presentation of the trailer reeks of attempting to claim that so-imporant indie credibility, from a varied soundtrack of desperation throughout the trailer to quirky character presentations. Guess what - it might have worked. Acclaim from Sundance and the Philidalphia Film Festival make this look like it could be this year's Little Miss Sunshine, right down to stealing Oscar nominations in just a few months.
