Official Plot Synopsis

The second film adaptation to Frank Miller's graphic novel series. This time around, the plot is set to be based on Miller's "A Dame to Kill For" novel.
There are seven graphic novels for sale right now on Amazon.com in the Sin City series. What that means is, they’ve got plenty of material to make more movies. There’s been talk recently of making a “Sin City” television show, and while the story’s episodic nature might lend themselves to that, their graphic nature does not. Even if they showed it on HBO. This is Sin City after all.
No, on film is where the beautiful, disturbed world of Frank Miller’s Sin City belongs. So it’s great news that they’re already working on another movie installment. Hartigan is dead, so he won’t be back, and of course we’ll all miss the dearly de-limbed creepy Kevin. But Marv is being worked in again, so that probably means it isn’t linear anyway.
Sadly, word is that the next Sin City will focus more on the character of Nancy. In theory, that might be a good idea… if she weren’t played by one of Hollywood’s least talented actresses, Jessica Alba. It’s safe to assume that Alba and her no-nudity clause will be back in the part, a shame since she was the only blemish on the otherwise fantastic first movie. I’m not sure what Rodriguez was thinking with that casting, but his decision may prove to be the lead weight which drags an otherwise fantastic, burgeoning franchise right down.
She’s an albatross. Eject Alba and recast. We don’t mind if someone new is in the character. It’ll only make the second film better.
