Official Plot Synopsis

When a group of teenagers begin to play an ultra-realistic videogame called Stay Alive they soon discover a spine-chilling connection – they are each being brutally murdered one-by-one in the same method as the character they played in the game. As the line between the game world and the real world disappears, the group must find a way to stay alive.
What kind of videogame are these kids playing where they only get killed once? Even on my best day of Halo, I die several dozen times before lunch. Which one of my videogame deaths will be chosen as the way I get killed in the real world? I hope it’s the one where I fall flailing off a cliff. Cliff jumping deaths are cool. Aren’t there any extra lives? Health packs? Resurrection spells?
I really think we’re running out of excuses to murder teenagers on film. Let’s drop the pretense and just start slaughtering. That’s what the audience is there for. They want to see Paris Hilton skewered. It doesn’t matter why it happens, so long as it happens. House of Wax handled the Paris Hilton killing pretty well, so let’s take out that kid from Malcolm next. It’s time he was cancelled.
