Twilight is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met.

Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands – and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. But he doesn’t have fangs, and he doesn’t drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens’ mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her?

all you people who are just now reading Twilight, you're not true fans. im sorry to say that. but...it's true. I read Twilight 2 years ago and anticipated the arrival of Eclipse. Those who are just reading the book because the movie is coming out, are not true fans. Jumping on the band wagon, eh?

  1. Jess Says:

I just finished reading Twilight, and I loved it. I also want to say that it's rude to tell people who are just now reading it that they aren't true fans. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I knew other people had read it and enjoyed it, so I decided I would go ahead and read it, because I hadn't found a really good book series in a long time. No matter when you start reading a book series, it can mean just as much to you as someone who read the series 2 years before you did. A fan is a fan. Just because someone wasn't there since the very beginning doesnt make them any less of a fan. When you read a book, you put yourself in the place of the characters, don't you? It becomes YOUR adventure, your fantasy. Even if a million other people have already read it. It's like starting Harry Potter 2 years later than everyone else. Even though they havent been there since the very beginning, once they've read all the books, they're just as much of a fan as anyone else. It's only bad to "jump on the bandwagon" JUST because everyone else is doing it; if you don't even like series but read it anyway just because everyone else is. If you read it and love it, you're still a fan. It just seems selfish to say that anyone who starts reading now isn't a true fan. Especially since there are still more books to come.

  1. Just a fan Says:

This book was INCEDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I read it ( I hate reading never liked it at all) but i could not out this book down for anything at all i finished it in 2 in half days. Twilight was WOW there are no words to discribe how this book is. I i hope there are movies to all off the books including your newest one "The Host". All your books should be turned into movies. I'm overly excited for the new release and will be willing to watch it more than once im sure, I was so drawn into the Romeo and Juliet theme to lovers who cant be together but who make effort too. I am a teenager myself and this book has hit everything that interest me love, romance, Vampires. The best vampire novel ever written. I dont even have to watch the movie to picture eveything the scenes and the details are so well detailed i can just pictured every image you describe truly this book has made a great impression in my life.

"all you people who are just now reading Twilight, you're not true fans."

First of all, anyone who feels the need to say that is not a true fan... if you were, you'd welcome more people into this community of folks who enjoy these stories. Just because you were reading teeny-bopper novels about vampires 2 years before anyone else you know doesn't make you high and mighty, my friend... just sad.

As for the person saying that this is these are the best vampire novels ever written, you might want to check out "Dracula"... or " 'Salem's Lot' "

Lastly... this all looks like a bad episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But, I guess I'm not a 'true fan'.
