The only thing weirder than making a movie about an Israeli commando with a passion for hair-styling is casting Adam Sandler to play that particular cipher. But Sandler co-wrote it with the great Judd Apatow, which could mean we’re looking at something more than the usual Happy Madison extended excuse for a Rob Schneider “You can do it!” cameo. With a concept like that, it’s already set itself apart from their usual sports movie stuff.
