Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back The world needs potheads. In our politically correct society, it is no longer acceptable to make fun of the handicapped, homosexuals, or even Pollock’s. Now, we must turn to potheads for our humor. Following in the lustrous tradition of Cheech and Chong comes Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back stars Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith reprising their oft used View Askew roles of Jay and Silent Bob, a pair of pot smoking homophobic losers whose life was the inspiration for the comic book "Bluntman and Chronic". When Internet geeks start smearing their name after the inevitable announcement of a Bluntman and Chronic movie, Jay and Silent Bob head for Hollywood to shut production down.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is poorly acted, poorly written, and absolutely entertaining. Leaping from one flatly delivered scene to the next, Jay and Silent Bob cuts deep into the hearts of all the annoying internet trolls besmirching the name of movie lovers everywhere. Simultaneously, the film pounces on two-face studio hypocrisy with a bloodlust for all that's wrong about the movie industry. And somewhere in between all that lovely carnage, director Kevin Smith keeps his sense of humor, and throws in line after line of Beavis and Buttheadesc stupidity.

Will Farrell steals the show as a hell-bent, ineffectually driven US Wildlife Marshall. Shannon Elizabeth proves that she's lucky to be gorgeous. Ben Affleck proves he doesn't even know how to play himself, and Kevin Smith proves he can make a viciously funny film out of just about anything.

Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back is a mess of a film, but therein it makes its point. There are a lot of people out there that need a beatin, and Jay and Silent Bob know just how to do it.
