Among his many film credits are The Hunt For Red October, Quigley Down Under, Robocop, Les Misérables (1998), Conan The Barbarian (1982), For Love of the Game and Starship Troopers. That last film mentioned truly showed the man's power as a score writer. It's the sign of a good composer when he can take a great film and create a great score to match it. It's the sign of a great composer when he can take a schamltzy sci-fi film and give it a true touch of powerful artistry.
