Bobby Soundtrack Turns Back The Clock
Emilio Estevez takes his first turn in the directors chair with Bobby, a re-accounting of the events surrounding the assassination of Robert Kennedy (not to be confused with the John F. Kennedy assassination). It's anticipated to be a heavy emotional film with tremendous tragic nostalgia for those who remember the event. In keeping with that nostalgia the film's soundtrack turns to the music back to the sixties as well.

Classic songs from groups like Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and The Supremes make up much of the disc. Also included are tracks "Grazing in the Grass" from jazz musician Hugh Masekela and "Function At The Junction" from Motown man "Shorty" Long.

Original music from composer Mark Isham round out the disc with a special new version of "Never Gonna Break My Faith" with Atretha Franklin and Mary J. Blige. For an extra kick Demi Moore's in-film rendition of "Louie Louie" has been thrown in as well. The disc releases on November 21, just two days before the film arrives in theaters Thanksgiving Day.
