New movie soundtrack releases hitting Amazon, iTunes, and shelves (for you old schoolers) on November 13, 2007.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Alexandre Desplat (the man behind the score for the upcoming His Dark Materials: THe Golden Compass) and Aaron Zigman
(composer of Bridge to Teribithia and The Notebook fame) teamed up to create the whimsical and fantastical music for
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Both artists are talented enough on their own... a collaboration can only mean even more
wonderful surprises in store.
August Rush
Sure, Jonathan Rhys Meyers is a pretty face, but did you know he could sing? Well, sort of. Good enough, anyway, to play a man
whose life is built around music. You'll get to hear Meyers belting it out on a few of the tracks on this disc. The movie's young
star Freddie Highmore even gets some of his musical talent featured. If you love the sound of the guitar and want to hear some
really interesting music played on that instrument, you might want to give this one a listen.
