I wasn't a huge fan of the directions "Battlestar Galactica" went in its third season, but if there's one area that improved it was the score. Bear McCreary, building on the moving themes and scores he composed for the show's first two seasons, took things to a new height for the tormented third season. A wider array of instruments and styles helped create some of the most heightened moments of the series so far.
The "Battlestar Galactica" Season Three Soundtrack isn't out yet, but Soundtrack.Net got their hands on some clips from each of the disc's twenty-one tracks, including pieces from the much adored BSG interpretation of Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower".
To hear the clips you can head over to Soundtrack.Net and sample to your heart's content. The soundtrack goes on sale October 23.
