Best Buy To Acquire Napster Napster, Inc., the online music sharing community that came about because Seth Green fell asleep and had nappy hair…or that’s the version I remember at least – is being purchased by Best Buy. Yes, Best Buy the store is acquiring Napster. The deal works out to be about $127 million, which is indeed a lot of money to us lowly folk. Microsoft Is Not Messing Around Yahoo Microsoft is taking the gloves off. They are tired of Yahoo not playing fair and accepting the $44.6 billion bid to buy the company, so they’re taking the issue to the fans. Or er…the shareholders. XM And Sirius Merger Gets Department Of Justice Blessing XM Radio and Sirius are, after a year, starting to see results of their planned merger. The deal hasn’t made it past all scrutiny yet, but the Department of Justice has given the lovely couple its blessing.
