The next major threat will be China, and they’ll be battling with Bruce Lee “androids.” The Chinese government is planning a Bruce Lee theme park, complete with a roller coaster that emits the iconic Lee grunts from such films as Enter the Dragon.
If you don’t know who Bruce Lee is, make your way to the local video rental shop or log onto Netflix pronto. He is the greatest martial artist cinema has ever bestowed on the world, even calling the legendereh Chuck Norris as one of his pupils. The Chinese government plans to have the park patrolled by Bruce Lee “mannequin robots,” which are radio-controlled. Hmmm…there is no way that robotic versions of a man who can kick a person’s head clean off is a bad idea. Nothing could possiblie go wrong…oops, I meant possibly.
According to Wired he park is currently scheduled to open in 2009 and will include a statue of the late martial arts master, along with a school teaching Lee’s signature fighting style, Jeet Kune Do. That gives America, and the rest of the western world, only a few more years before our hearts are punched out of our chests by an army of “android” Lee’s.
