Buy A Guitar For A Giant

Yesterday while walking through a local furniture store we came across a very large wooden chair. Large as in a giant would fit nicely, but my 6’4” self would look like a gnat sitting on your hand. It was obviously a novelty item, because who really needs a chair that big? Most likely it’s the same person who would require the guitar pictured to the right.

Artist Mike Shubic made the 12-foot guitar as part of his landscape work. The one here, for sale at eBay, goes for a minimum of $6,500 plus shipping. You get the large ass guitar, which can be made with any finish the buyer wants. Shubic also says it can be strummed and tuned, to a small degree. The strings themselves are actually piano wire.

As of this writing there have been no bids, but there’s still seven days left on the posting. Shubic is also able to make other musical instruments if you so desire.
