CB Tube: Scrubs Does Charlie Brown

With all the potential of the Internet, from YouTube to Google Video to all the things in between, who needs television? With that in mind, we present CB Tube, a weekly random selection of whatever appeals to us online. We select, you watch, just like real TV, but we make no promises about entertainment value… just like real TV.

I have no idea where this week’s clip actually came from, but it’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen on YouTube in quite a while. We all know the classic Charlie Brown Christmas special, but the cast of Scrubs has taken it in a new direction. They’ve done an in-character voice over dub of the animated special. Charlie Brown is now J.D., Linus is Dr. Cox, etc.

I have no idea what inspired the actors to provide in-character lines like this, but it was a stroke of genius. The dialog gets a little more blue than the television show usually gets (one of the benefits of not having television censors I guess), so be warned this probably isn’t work safe, but it’s still a riot.
