EMOPORT Provides Mental Stress Relief On A Monthly Cycle

Each month we men have to deal with our wives or girlfriends when they turn into inconsolable emotional piles of irrationality. Aside from being fodder for amateur comedians, this phenomenon is really not all that interesting or funny. What may work one month could be the exact thing that sends her off next time around. So, what is a guy to do to keep his lady happy during those times? Clearly you should purchase a condescending piece of mediocre hardware called EMOPORT.

EMOPORT was designed by Saikat Biswas, and according to her is a ”personal emotional vitalizer.” It’s essentially a really underpowered portable game system that a woman puts personal info into, and then whenever there are fits of hysteria the device can be taken out to relieve stress.

OK, now I’m a guy so perhaps I’m missing the big picture on this one. But how is it that some ridiculous, and unnecessary, device is going to help alleviate the emotional rollercoaster that is PMS? And if that were the case, then why not buy a superior product like the PSP or Nintendo DS. Both of which have female friendly games, without the baggage of being designed to help with mental unbalance.

The other issue I have is there is a simpler way to solve the problem for us guys. Leave a bag of Hershey’s Kisses on the table with a sappy movie like Sydney White (seriously guys, use this one…just don’t be in the room when it’s on), and then just go out with your friends. Rather than get yelled at for being gone for the evening you will be praised as such a thoughtful husband.
