Hancock Coming To BRAVIA HDTV Owners First

Sony’s BRAVIA Internet Video Link has been mediocre at best so far. At least when you consider the $299 add-on pricing. I can watch YouTube on my computer. So it’s odd that I don’t like the offering of Hancock prior to its Blu-ray release. After all, this is the sort of content BRAVIA owners are expecting from Sony. Here’s the issue: why in the hell is this system not being integrated onto the PlayStation Network?
Sony is a large company with varied interests in the electronics field. But they are splitting their own market by offering both the BRAVIA Internet Link and the PSN. Choose one distribution model and stick with it. Get the teams together to bring it into one cohesive unit. Hell, I’m not even asking that they suddenly cut non PS3 owning BRAVIA customers out of the fold. Put together the PSN as the general network and cross it over to the BRAVIA Internet Video Link. Sony pictures is letting Sony HDTV owners have a first home look at Hancock from October 28th through November 10th for $9.99. After that when the movie releases on November 24th customers will receive a free Blu-ray copy. That’s a great deal, but I see the whole situation as a problem for the multi-headed Hydra that is Sony. RELATED: Blu-ray, ps3, psn, sony pictures, hancock, sony
