Guitar Hero Figurines Now Available At Toys R Us

For some reason figurines are a popular portion of the geek culture. Video games come packed with them in special limited edition cases, and die hards will spend lots of money searching the internet to complete a collection. I don’t go in for that, most likely because as an adult I don’t know what I’d do with them. But that doesn’t stop figurines from being popular. Right now you can go to your local Toys ‘R’ Us store and pick up a 6-inch scale figure of your favorite Guitar Hero rock gods.

Made by McFarlane Toys, the guys who did those great Halo figures last year, the first series features four of the best known characters: Lars Umlaut, Johnny Napalm, God of Rock, and Axel Steel. If I were to grab a Guitar Hero figure it would have to be Death. In addition to the classic looks McFarlane toys has some repainted versions of the series 1 lineup on the way in November. Axel Steel with a Spawn T-shirt, God of Rock in all gold and Johnny Napalm with a green Mohawk will also be available at Toys ‘R’ Us.
