Hasbro Shows Off Indiana Jones Toys
Any true Indiana Jones fan is incomplete without authentic toys and figures to carry along to the movie. Hasbro has unveiled the official lineup of Indy toys, which we have in the gallery below. Before you read any further please note that the images of the new toys may be a bit spoilerific. You have to make some connections in your mind to see the spoilers, but they are definitely there. So you have been warned. And if you want my personal opinion on it, I don’t find the “info” contained in the toys too spoilery.

So the guys over at Collider.com has some images of the Indy toys from the Toy Fair in New York City. The biggest set is the Lost Temple of Akator Playset, which looks to be the final location in the fourth film. It come with the Temple; complete with puzzles, and Indy and Ugha Warrior figures. Also being released by Hasbro are a collection of figures from all four films, as well as 8 deluxe action figures..

As cool as the other toys are I have to admit I’m a big fan of the Mr. Potato Head: Taters of the Lost Ark set. The set includes the traditional spud with leather jacket, whip and fedora. The hat plays the infamous John Williams theme song to Raiders, which might get a little annoying.

A sound FX whip – which I doubt will allow you to traverse town by swinging from lamp posts onto passing trucks – will be available on May 1. The big toy sets will be available in the fall, just in time for you to make my Christmas with a kind gift.
