Besides being the official sponsor of Kevin Smith’s and Scott Mosier’s SMODcast, Think Geek is also the purveyor of geeky items that may make you feel cool…even if you’re not. Sure, they have your cables and gadgets aplenty. But check out this R/C chopper. It’s black, stealthy and way better than the myriad of cars my dad bought me as a tyke.
The “Black Stealth” is a 3-channel mini chopper that should entertain even the biggest of kids. I remember having some balsa wood gliders as a kid and then seeing a dad and his kid at the park flying around a remote control copter. Maybe “flying” isn’t the right word, so much as “trying desperately to keep control of the expensive toy.” Still, it was way cooler than a $1.99 glider. And oh how I wanted one.
At $30 the price is a bit cheap for me to believe this works that well, but the boys at Think Geek are all about the stealth chopper.
