MIT Prank Celebrates Halo
The pranks and hacks of MIT are legendary among the geek crowd, but this week’s just might go down in the video gamer hall of fame. MIT students turned a statue of John P. Harvard into a visible icon of this week in geek: armed with an assault rifle and wearing a Spartan helmet, Harvard was transformed into the Halo icon Master Chief (or “Master Chief in Training” as the helmet inscription reads). The statue was also given a beaver emblem on his right shoulder.
