New Ways To Traverse The Moon On Our Return Trip I you haven’t heard, NASA is having a good run of space things happening lately. Following decades where kids stopped dreaming of becoming astronauts and the masses cared little for space exploration, we have found water on mars and there’s a planned return to the moon. I have a feeling it’ll be a bit like returning to your hometown as an adult and wondering how you ever got by without access to 39 Chinese take out restaurants.

For the return to the moon the new breed of astronaut needs an updated mode of transportation. Sure, the old Lunar Lander and associated ATV shenanigans of the past would still work. But why do that when we can spend billions for a glorified Segway? Come on, you know you thought the same thing when you looked at the picture to the right. Perhaps they can get GOB to go up on the next trip. “Space mission, Michael. It’s called a “space mission.”

NASA’s Constellation Program is getting underway as we speak. My question is: what do they expect to find on the moon? Last time there were a lot of rocks…and I’m thinking there will also be rocks this time around. I
