Nyko At E3: Intercooler TS

I hope you didn’t think that the only thing to go down at E3 was a rehashing of games we already knew about and a few intermittent surprises. Nyko Technologies, peripheral maker prolificarious, also had an expansive presence at the Expo. One of their more popular products is getting some major updates. The Intercooler TS aims to keep the furnace generating nature of your current gen console under control.

The new 360 version includes snap-on installation and an AC power supply rather than the typical USB power solution. For the PS3 Intercooler Nyko has added four fans to reduce ambient air temperature. So you’ll always keep your consoles cooled off. Of course the necessity of such a product is questionable. It’s not like you’re overclocking the CPU in the system and need to ensure things are kept cool. Perhaps if you live in the desert, or like to keep your house at a nice balmy 90 degrees you may need the Intercooler TS.
