Phoenix Lander Is Up And Operational
Everything is going to be OK. The Phoenix Lander is not another failed NASA adventure. The lander was feared to have lost use of its arm when a stuck piece of plastic casing was found to be prohibiting it from moving the 7.7 ft titanium arm. This posed a major problem for the Phoenix Lander’s mission to perform drilling missions.

The Phoenix Lander is tasked with drilling into Martian soil in search of “water-ice,” which could then lead to proof that life once existed on the planet. This would mean that life could once again thrive on the red planet. The craft is expected to begin work, and the first samples should be collected by next week.
