Rumor: Nikon To Introduce The D90 Very Soon

Whenever you buy a car you always seem to see your car all over town. Or when you’re looking to buy something it seems like everyone you know already has one, and is more than willing to share what they think of the product. Lately we’ve been looking into getting an entry level dSLR camera. Likely candidates have included: Canon XTi, XT, XSi, and Nikon D80. It’s odd that in the last week two new cameras have been rumored to be making an appearance very soon.

Today we receive word that Nikon is planning to introduce the D90, successor to the very nice D80, tomorrow. We have no information on the camera, but it’s assumed that things will be updated and changed. The timing of when Nikon plans to announce the D90 is also swimming in the rumor pool. That’s fine because I’ve decided that today is officially going down as “Rumor Day.” The only thing I’ve learned today that is not a rumor is that The Incredible Hulk was a much better movie than the Ang Lee version.

If we hear anything official we’ll let you know, although it’s likely we’ll be reading up on the specs and trying to decide if the D90 will be worth a purchase. For now we have this sketchy photograph of the camera to the right, you can decide if it’s real or not.
