Hell On Wheels Preview: A Look Behind The Scenes Of AMC's Upcoming Western

Given AMC’s track-record, added to what’s been shown, it would be impossible not to be excited about their upcoming drama series Hell on Wheels, unless you’re not a big fan of westerns. Even that might not be an issue, come to think of it. I don’t normally consider myself much of a Western fan, with the exception of certain films (Tombstone), but this new series looks mighty good.

?East will meet west when AMC’s Hell on Wheels premieres next month. The network posted this excellent behind-the-scenes look at the drama, which follows a former Confederate soldier (Anson Mount) as he finds himself involved in the Union Pacific Railroad’s westward construction while on a quest for vengeance. The video below runs nearly seven minutes and includes more than a few glimpses of the series, as well as some interesting information on the characters and what this series is all about.

Here’s the trailer for the series, in case you haven’t seen it already:

Hell on Wheels premieres November 6th on AMC.
