“TV star” Will Arnett might want to turn our brains into mushy mush. Or Hulu Plus does and Will Arnett is speaking on behalf of the streaming video service in this teaser for the site’s Super Bowl Ad. Check it out ahead.

Despite his other acting endeavors, including NBC’s new comedy Up All Night, I doubt I’m alone in associating Arnett with his role as Gob Bluth in Arrested Development, which is probably soon to be associated with Netflix (if it isn't already), the soon-to-be home of the glorious return of the series. Then again, as Hulu is partially owned by NBC Universal, and that’s where Arnett can be seen most frequently these days, I suppose he’s still a fitting spokesperson for Hulu Plus, which offers plenty of NBC content. Hulu Plus also offers all three seasons of Arrested Development, so there’s really plenty of Arnett to go around.

Arnett follows in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Seth MacFarlane, Eliza Dushku and Denis Leary in further revealing the “Evil Plot to Destroy the World” by Hollywood aliens who wish to turn our minds to mush, using Hulu Plus as their secret weapon. Here’s the teaser ad, which has Arnett gaining access to some kind of secret room in the Hollywood sign.

This may be unintentional, but his fancy suit, mingled with the green background is giving me Matrix flashbacks. But picturing Arnett as a funny Agent Smith may be just be my mushy brain’s interpretation.

The Super Bowl XLVI airs Sunday, February 5th on NBC. Hulu will be updating their Ad Zone page with the commercials that air during the big game.
