Olympics Day 11 NBC Tuesday Primetime Schedule Includes Gymnastics, Hurdles And Beach Volleyball

Hurdles, high jumps and high bars ahead! NBC's primetime Olympic coverage for Day 11 offers a number of gymnastics events and the Gold Medal Finals for three Track and Field events. And in the sand, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings will team up against China's opposition in the Women's Beach Volleyball semi-finals.

The pool-related events seem to be tapering off Yesterday's primetime coverage at NBC included diving, but tonight's line-up is water-free, with most of the coverage divided between Gymnastics and Track and Field. We'll see some diving tomorrow night, but tonight we should enjoy the gymnastics while it lasts because this is the last night for it, with Jordyn Wieber and Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas returning to the floor to compete for medals. I'm resisting the urge to read the spoilers, but those who want to skip straight to the results can find them at NBCOlympics.com.

There are also a few Track and Field events, including the Mens 1500M. The U.S. hasn't won a gold for that event since 1968! And Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh will hopefully get a little bit closer to another gold medal tonight when they hit the sand for the semifinals in Beach Volleyball against China's Chen Xue and Xi Zhang.

Meanwhile, here's what NBC's going to show us tonight.
