Adult Swim Previews The Robot Chicken: DC Comics Special...Oh, Aquaman

Robot Chicken has quite a premiere planned for its upcoming sixth season. The Emmy Award-winning, stop-motion-animated program on the Adult Swim network has tackled big franchises before, with their famous spoof of the Star Wars Saga (before Family Guy), and now they are once again entering sacred fanboy territory: the DC Comics catalogue. Teaming up with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the creators of Robot Chicken, are starting the new year off in style with their DC Comics Special. Here's the first trailer from Adult Swim:

Man, no matter where he goes, Aquaman just can't catch a break. I hope they give him a redemption scene where the rest of the Justice League are in the water and he can finally get back at them. Who am I kidding, like water's going to help Arthur do battle with the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman. Joining Robot Chicken brainchild Seth Green (as Batman, Robin, and the aforementioned Aquaman) are regulars like Breckin Meyer (as Superman), Neil Patrick Harris (Two-Face), Abe Benrubi, Alex Borstein, Clare Grant, Tara Strong, Matt Senreich, Tom Root, and Zeb Wells, with Kevin Shinick narrating. Oh, and Alfred Molina as Lex Luthor, Megan Fox as Lois Lane, and Nathan Fillion fulfilling fanboy dreams in the role of Green Lantern.

Robot Chicken: DC Comics Special airs Sunday, September 9th at Midnight (12:00 a.m. ET/PT) on Adult Swim.
