Watch A Price Is Right Model Trip And Break The Set

Daytime TV: the thing that always made going home from school sick just a little bit better. Game shows in general have a tendency to follow some pretty straightforward formulas, so it’s always hilarious to see when something unexpected happens. A recent episode of The Price Is Right featured one of those quintessentially unexpected moments, check it out below:

During Friday’s episode of The Price is Right, host Drew Carey was guiding contestant Leah through the process of winning an ATV. The segment came to a victorious close – as often happens on the show – and as everyone cheered for Leah’s win, model Amber Lancaster began to take a tumble in the background. She managed to recover without falling, but her lego or maybe those stiletto heels shattered some of the show’s trademark light bulbs. Confusion began as Leah expressed concern that she had done something wrong, and then Lancaster’s face got bright red. Carey managed to keep everything under control as laughter ensued, and the model claimed that she’s fine, but she might end up dying of embarrassment caused by the incident.

This is far from the first time that one of The Price Is Right’s models has done something unexpected and hilarious on the show. Earlier this year another model named Manuela Arbelaez accidentally showed the correct answer to the game a contestant was playing – pretty much grinding everything to a screeching halt. She later confirmed that she did not get in trouble for the incident, so we’re assuming that all will be forgiven for Lancaster breaking a few bulbs.

The Price Is Right is the kind of program where anything can happen at any time. From contestants being a little too brutally honest when they come on stage, to flat out falling on a treadmill, the show’s contestants produce some genuinely hilarious – as well as spontaneous – moments. Some of these moments can be heartwarming as well, such as when Snoop Dogg won a boatload of money for a charity that benefits at risk inner city youths.

So next time you stay home sick from school, or are sitting in your break room at work, remember that there’s ample entertainment to be found on daytime TV. The Price Is Right’s format has stayed relatively consistent over the past 44 seasons, but every now and then something like Ms. Lancaster’s stumble will happen that provides us with endless entertainment.
