How Aaron Paul Caught Breaking Bad Fans Crashing His Wedding

Any actors with major parts on hit shows are bound to be hit with some serious celebrity status, and Breaking Bad was so huge that co-lead Aaron Paul will probably be asked by fans to call them “bitch” until he retires. As it turns out, three particularly rabid Breaking Bad viewers were such big fans that they actually crashed Paul’s wedding to Lauren Parsekian. These were particularly sneaky fans, and neither husband nor wife even found out until they took a look at the pictures.

We had three people crash our wedding. We didn’t know it happened until we started looking through photos of our wedding and we saw these three strangers. We were like, ‘Who are these people?’ We had a 1920s Parisian carnival wedding so it was very themed and these people were just in basic wedding attire. They just stood out like a sore thumb. This one girl almost caught Lauren’s bouquet. She dove for it – violently dove – you could tell it on her face.

Aaron Paul’s recounting of the story to James Corden on The Late Late Show is hilarious, but we're wondering if the discovery that a few of his fans broke bad and crashed his wedding was somewhat less funny at first. Still, for fans who are willing to go the distance and find a way into an actor’s wedding, at least they had the manners not to make a scene and mob the groom. One girl diving for the bouquet doesn’t even really count. There’s a version of that girl at plenty of weddings.

Evidently, these fans were smart enough to not brag all over the internet about attending Aaron Paul’s wedding. In fact, if the crashers had known to dress to the theme, perhaps Paul and his wife never would have discovered them. Given that the theme of the wedding was the awfully specific “1920s Parisian carnival,” they were bound to be found out eventually. Who knows? Maybe these particular Aaron Paul fans were so immersed in the show that they were afraid that they’d find themselves on the receiving end of an ATM machine if they drew too much attention to themselves.

Here's the full story:

Except for a possible guest shot on Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, Aaron Paul has left the role of Jesse Pinkman behind. After all, Jesse wasn’t exactly in the state to be looking for spinoff adventures after the Breaking Bad finale. He’s kept busy in new ways. His most recent starring role is Eddie Cleary on Hulu original series The Path, which hit the web on March 30. There’s no confirmation if and when he might show up on Better Call Saul, but it’s time to start crossing fingers that rumors are true and Paul really could nab a role in a Dark Tower adaptation. All in all, we can bet that we’ll be seeing much more of him in the future. Hopefully, he just won’t be seeing any more strangers in family photos.
