Jason Momoa Had The Best Response To Daenerys' Fiery Game Of Thrones Scene

The latest episode of Game of Thrones came to a fiery conclusion that is sure to keep viewers talking for the rest of the series. Daenerys Targaryen used her ability to survive any amount of fire to roast a tent full of khals alive, then calmly strode out to awe the Dothraki horde into bowing before her. Former Khal Drogo actor Jason Momoa was so impressed by his on-screen wife’s big move that he took to Instagram to share his reaction. Check it out!

Jason Momoa’s post on Instagram is just about as fantastic a response as possible to Dany’s big scene. He may have only had a single season on the show before his character’s untimely death, but we can safely say that Khal Drogo would be insanely proud of his Khaleesi for how she seized power in front of a hundred thousand Dothraki in a single action. She is no Stallion Who Mounts the World; she is the dragon who burns her enemies to a crisp whenever they push her too far.

Vaes Dothrak was really the perfect place for Daenerys to make her big move against the khals in a way that would have made Drogo proud. It was in a tent in Vaes Dothrak that Dany devoured a raw horse heart, allowed her brother to be killed for breaking Dothraki customs, and motivated Drogo to declare that he would take the Seven Kingdoms on his wife’s behalf. Dany’s show of strength to prove that she intended to carry out that mission and take the Seven Kingdoms herself proved that she had more in common with Drogo than the rest of the khals believed. The moon of Drogo's life can do much more than just shine.

This was not the first time that Jason Momoa has taken to Instagram to react to Dany’s exploits in Season 6 of Game of Thrones. He was impressed by Dany stopping another khal from raping her by declaring herself the wife of Drogo, then had to give her props for telling that khal that she wouldn’t be bearing children for him or anyone else.

It’s nice to see that Jason Momoa still has so much enthusiasm for Game of Thrones. Not all actors watch shows shows after they’ve been killed off, but Momoa has evidently been keeping up with the series and rooting for Dany of all the candidates for the Iron Throne. Considering that Momoa has been awfully busy lately with his major DC role as Aquaman, his dedication is admirable.

To see what’s next for Dany and the Dothraki, tune in to Game of Thrones at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. Jason Momoa can be seen in his next big role as Aquaman when Justice League Part One hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
