Fuller House's Aunt Becky is certainly a West Coast girl at heart. She spent plenty of time living in San Francisco in the nineties before taking a new gig in Los Angeles at the start of Netflix's new series. However, Lori Loughlin, who plays Aunt Becky on the show, had enough time in her busy schedule to take on another gig. She's headed to New York to film an episode of CBS' wildly popular Blue Bloods.

Lori Loughlin is set to pop up way sooner than later on the hit CBS drama. News this week indicates that she's signed on to guest star in the Season 7 premiere of Blue Bloods. Her character will be a woman named Grace. She's the widow of a slain police officer and she's terrified that her son is considering also joining the police force in New York. According to TV Line, Grace will decided to speak to Frank, hoping that Tom Selleck's character will be able to keep her son from making the same choice her husband made.

A lot actually seems to be going down in the Season 7 premiere of Blue Bloods. Another new character, played by Michael Imperioli, will be a lawyer who begins looking into Danny Reagan. He's interested in what happened with Thomas Wilder in Season 6. In "Down The Rabbit Hole," Danny had followed Wilder after he kidnapped Nicky. Eventually, he ended up in an open field with the serial killer and proceeded to shoot him after getting taunted. There have been a couple of episodes that aired since that one, but it should be a good starting point to touch base with what happened during the latter half of Season 6.

As for Lori Loughlin, the actress popped up on a few occasions during Fuller House Season 1. She is expected to return in the same sort of capacity for Fuller House Season 2. Since the gig only has her appearing in some of the episodes of the Netflix series, this gives her plenty of opportunity to still take on other roles. She's one of the leads in Hallmark Channel's When Calls The Heart, and Season 4 of that drama is expected to hit the schedule in 2017. She also recently starred in the latest Garage Sale Mystery TV movie, which was subtitled The Novel Murders.

We don't have an official premiere date for Fuller House Season 2 yet--although 2017 is looking likely--but we do know a lot about what we can expect from the upcoming episodes on Netflix. Lori Loughlin will be on Blue Bloods when it returns to CBS on Friday, September 23 at 10 p.m. ET.
