Flip Or Flop's Frank The Tank Was Rushed To The Hospital As Health Problems Worsen

A fan favorite of Flip Or Flop, Frank "The Tank," Miller was rushed to the hospital days ago as his health problems continue to worsen. Co-host of the series, Tarek El Moussa, shared the update with fans via Instagram in an effort to raise Frank's spirits and update their fans on the contractor's ongoing battle:

A series regular on Flip Or Flop, Frank Miller is a frequent contractor on homes for the El Moussa family and was diagnosed with two very aggressive forms of cancer some time ago. The El Moussa's have shared updates on Frank's health and have promoted as well as donated money to his Go Fund Me on their Instgram pages and other social media in an attempt to help make a dent in his growing medical bills. Miller's most recent trip to the hospital comes just under a couple months after he was required to have a tracheotomy after his airway began to close due to the cancer. Miller announced earlier this year that his cancer is inoperable.

The connection of Frank Miller and the El Moussa's perhaps goes beyond their professional relationship fans see on Flip or Flop, as fans may know Tarek El Moussa is a cancer survivor. El Moussa was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2013 after seeing a doctor when a concerned nurse emailed the production team after noticing a nodule on his neck. El Moussa would later find out he also had testicular cancer, but has since stated that as of January this year he is cancer free. It would seem the El Moussa's caring for their friend as well as Tarek's experience drive their efforts to get the word out to fans about Frank The Tank.

Between his first and last appearance on Flip Or Flop, Frank "The Tank," Miller has appeared on about 22 episodes of the series between 2014 and 2017. Those appearances make him one of the most recurring faces on the series beyond Tarek El Moussa and ex-wife Christina, and Frank is only one episode shy of the former couple's young son, Brayden. Miller's last billed appearance, according to his IMDB page, was "Hot Market, Fast Flip," late in Season 6 and it is unclear if Miller will be a part of any of the currently unaired episodes of Season 7.

Flip Or Flop is currently airing Season 7 Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV. The status of the long running series has been up in the air at least in it's current form with varying reports saying different things regarding Season 8. As far as other HGTV programming is concerned, another House Hunters spinoff is on the way, and the Fixer Upper family is facing some heat following a crazy incident involving one of their renovated homes.
